I believe healing isn't about becoming someone new. It's about remembering who you've been beneath the striving, the perfectionism, and the constant search for the next answer.
Hi, I’m Keira, and Here is my story.
For years, I believed the answer to my health was somewhere outside of me.
As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with chronic cystic acne, painful menstrual cycles, severe PMS, and symptoms that left me feeling frustrated and disconnected from my body. When conventional medicine couldn’t offer the answers I was searching for, I began looking elsewhere.
That search led me into the world of holistic health. In 2013, I began studying Holistic Health and Wellness at Indiana University. Along the way, I became a certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher, learning that healing wasn't only physical, but it was emotional, mental, and deeply connected to the way we lived our everyday lives.
As I continued my education, I was eventually diagnosed with PCOS (now PMOS), which helped explain many of the symptoms I had carried for years. Rather than seeing the diagnosis as the end of the story, it became an invitation to understand my body more deeply.
I immersed myself in herbalism, apprenticing with herbalists in the Pacific Northwest and studying both clinical herbal medicine and traditional folk herbal practices. I later earned my Master of Science in Functional Nutrition and Herbal Medicine and became a Certified Nutrition Specialist, spending years helping clients uncover the root causes of complex health concerns through nutrition, herbal medicine, and functional testing.
But if I'm honest, the greatest transformation in my life didn't come from another certification or another protocol. It came from realizing that I had spent years trying to fix myself.
After experiencing sexual trauma, I found myself drawn into trauma-informed somatic work and nervous system healing. For the first time, I wasn't asking, "How do I make my body work better?" I was asking, "How do I build a relationship with my body?"
That question changed everything. I stopped treating my body like a problem to solve and started listening to what she had been trying to tell me all along. Today, that experience shapes every aspect of my work.
I still love science. I still believe nutrition, herbal medicine, and functional testing can be incredibly valuable. But I no longer see them as the destination. They're simply tools that support a much deeper transformation.
My hope is that every woman who works with me leaves feeling more connected to her body, more trusting of her own wisdom, and more at home within herself than when she arrived. Because that has been the greatest gift of my own journey. And it's the gift I hope to share with every woman who walks alongside me.
